How I learned to mind my own business...

I was walking past the mental hospital the other day.

All the patients were shouting, '13...13...13...'

The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a little gap

in the planks, so I looked through to see what was

going on.....

Some crazy person poked me in the eye with a stick!

Then they all started shouting '14...14...14...'

Sorta like the guy sitting on a stool in his front yard with a fishing pole, worm on the hook and hook in a bucket of water. I passed by, and trying to humor the guy asked him how many he had caught?



He told me I was the eleventh one.

every now and then, i stand in the rotunda of a public building and look up.....
only takes about four minutes before I have 'friends' ......
then I walk away.

I fall into each of these traps every time.

Oops...Good to have a sense of humor...!

 

Out with my poaching buddy one year during bow season. We had .22LR rifles. Just got the deer dragged up to the ditch when a truck comes down the road. He drops the deer and we both look up in the trees. rifles up, the truck slows down, and the guy driving says "I think I saw him moving in that tree" pointing to the next tree over. But the guy never looked down to see the deer...
