I have a HF set in the partitioned storage case that goes with me when I am with others that might need a socket, or screwdriver, or whatever and maybe not all parts end up back in their place. All things considered and how and who has used it, it has held up well. This is not a part of my inventory of "good" tools, but not all that bad.

Craftsman has really dropped in quality.
May I suggest buying multiple sets of each socket set and if possible extras of the commonly used sockets.
Wall thickness on el cheapo has held me up a couple times.
I doubt warranty is as applicable to Stanamex with being in Mexico.
I'd get multiple cheap sets.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Just came in to cool off for a bit. Man, it is HOT outside. Forget about being in the sun because it brings out a heavy sweat in less than 2 minutes.
This place where the sockets will be used has had numerous good and bad sockets over the years. The extensions, ratchets and power bars have all 'vanished'. Have managed to find almost a complete set of brand mismatched 1/4". 3/8" and half a 1/2" set of sockets in metric and imperial. Must have about 60-70 different sockets. Been pricing just ratchets, extension etc to make up a useable set, but due the individual prices am beginning to think that it is more cost effective to buy complete sockets sets in imperial and metric. That will also give me a place to keep them and see if any are missing.
It is nuts what I have found. For example, in 3/8 drive have about 12 x 11/16" sockets, no 3/4", about 8 x 17 mm sockets, no 19mm or 16mm and so on. Only about half of of these are decent quality. No deep sockets which I will need.

Stan, fwiw, sets are almost always the better deal, break it down to cost per piece, and go from there.
Don't be stuck on name brand stuff either, you can get way better deals.

Morning sleepyheads. C'mon, up 'n arretem. Daylight will be here soon. Actually, the moon is so bright in my cloudless sky that I could read outside right now.
Will not mention that another boring, hot, gorgeous day dawning down here in Paradise. Fresh squeezed lime juice, honey and hot water is ready. So is the ph00 and coffee as less healthy drinks. The saying is: If it tastes good, it is not good for you.
Going to try to get an early start on some outside house maintenance. Need to start early because once the sun hits that spot, it quickly gets unbearably hot.
Both towing mirrors on my truck have had numerous hits, so have decided to replace them. Yesterday ordered upgrade replacement mirrors. They will be power folding and have the turn signal incorporated in them. Will pick them up at the end of the month when I head north. Installation will require a bit of work to run the new wires and switches, but the work does not look too bad. Looking forward to the power folding, because many times I am in tight spots and need to fold them.
Thanks for the answers so far re my tool question.
Enjoy your day wherever you are and whatever your condition.

Hiya, windy and cloudy. Storm blowing in. Got adventurous and hiked out to the mail box. Only about a 200 yard round trip, but under the circumstances it felt a lot longer.

Hello
How are you? I am fine.
Eye halve ah code.
I fired up the George foreman grill.
Pick your pleasure. Bacon, steak and/or steak and bacon.
I had a dream I was eating lightly grilled moose liver last night.
Even in my dream I was wondering why I was dreaming that.
