It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Mor'n all. The sun is not yet up, so why am I up? I do not even have to go to work. Now THAT is a nice feeling. Woke up with a bit of a sore throat, so have just squeezed a couple of limes into a cup and added a couple of spoons of local honey and hot water. It makes for a nice refreshing drink. Yes, even better than the coffee and ph00 here.
Thanks Bob, Claude, Sean, Lary, Shorts (who did I miss?) for the welcome back to North America. It sure is good to be back on this side of the pond again. Will do my best maintain my reputation and stir your pots as often as I can. Gotta see what I can do to get someone riled up about nothing.
Been reading about the heart breaking problems with dying pets. Been there too often, so can easily relate to what you are going through. Had to put down a couple of dogs and one cat in my life and each time it is a horrible experience. It just broke me up inside. I will admit it, yes, I cried on every occasion.
Going out in about 3 hours to have breakfast with a long time friend. We have not been together for over 4 months, so have lots to catch up on. Of course, we will be going to a real Mexican restaurant with genuine Mexican food. Hmmmmm, yummmmmmy.
It rained here last night and will probably rain again later today. Rain at this time of year is rather unusual here because the rainy season ends in November. The rain means cloud, which means limited sun, which means lower temperatures than normal.

Greta took her food last night and again this morning , and I can't tell ya what a huge deal that is to me. Good tidings to start the day
The only thing I have noticed different in her behavior the last month or so is that while she has always alerted to and voiced at cars pulling into the drive or odd noises outside , her level of aggressiveness has jumped big time . She doesn't just bark anymore, now it's hackles up snarling roars.
THE BOSS like to have wet herself when UPS pulled in the other day and Greta was laying next to her ! She didn't know her " baby" could do that..lol
Ok too hard to type on this stupid-phone( other folks have smart-phones, mine? Not so much)
Y'all have a good one and keep all our members/extended family in yer prayers

Burp Stupid kids got over the reindeer roast thing but luckily still left plenty for me.
Currently I am doing something weird, and not for the first time.
Its part of the stuff Lary, Bob and a lot of the other tough truck driving guys have done but not talked about much.
Balancing a kid on my stomach and typing on this ipad thing.
Ok, also I am sitting in the comfy chair by the tree, feeding the grand daughter breast milk.
Not mine but stuff I got out of the fridge, warmed up myself, put the nipple thingy on and let her go to town with it while everybody else has left or are taking naps.
Its amazing how something as new as a baby can wear people out.
You would think they would be like a new car and be fairly maintenance free for awhile.
Oh well. The kid is now sleeping on me, I am watching WWII in color and as soon as she poops her pants I am waking Grandma up.

Where is everybody? Now that I am back I was expecting to discover lots of activity here, but nada, nothing, zip. With all the 1,000's of DTR members, does nobody other to drop by for a coffee with the rest of the DTR world. C'mon DTRonians, the coffee ain't THAT bad. No comment on the ph00. Put you gas mask on and c'mon in. You never know what (or who) you will find in the breakroom. Come and make your contribution. Yesterday also dawned very chilly, but soon warmed up. Decided to give my wife a surprise Christmas present. She loves the heated seats in her car and uses them most mornings. She is a Latin female, so anything colder than about 25C is cold for her petite posterior. Ages ago I purchased a seat warmer kit for my truck, but never had a chance to install it. Good morning all y'all (see, I got the apostrophe correct this time). Last night was supposed to be the first quiet night in a few and darn if the weather alarm didn't go off at 4:20am!!!! We got a weather alert that I have never heard nor seen before, we are under a 'flash freeze' warning. It has been VERY warm the last 4 or 5 days (it has barely been dropping below freezing at night) but a cold front is supposed to come through this afternoon and drop the temperature 20 or 30 degress in less than half an hour. Then overnight the snow starts again. I guess I better get my outside chores and my trip to the city done this morning.
Stan, during your absence I learned how to stir Shorts pot REALLY well. It was US federal election night and I accidentally referred to Shorts as a Democrat. Whoops, that was one well stirred pot. She may have been in Texas at the time and Dalemead is a 4 or 5 hour flight from DFW but I still have the lump on the back of my head from the head slap I got for that one.
I typically remember to say Morning to Shorts, JWBM, Chaikwa, Bark etc but today let's also throw out a salutation (yeah, I got 'Word of the Day' toilet paper for Christmas) to Railoaderone, T-Rad,Twitch and Claude, some or our band of misfits don't always get the recognition they deserve.
Did Cincydiesel fall off the end of the planet or something?

If you have a link following you around you have some kind of spyware or malware on your computer you picked up elsewhere....use a free program like superantispyware to remove it. Also be sure to run your antivirus as well

Try running hiackthis as well and check for browser hijackers...all the bho's that are running on your computer will show and you can look them up one at a time on Google and figure out what is good and what you need to remove.
People will tell you to use a ad blocker but all that does is mask the problem it will remain unless you FIX the real problem. Make sure your browser, your windows software, your java and flash are all updated. Mine are often updated several times a week if yours isn't then you are leaving yourself open for this stuff.

What "flash" -- I see several different ones come up wanting updating - - which do you refer to and give me a URL. I seem to be pretty good now that I tracked down that one I mentioned last week. No more double underlined and colored words in messages. But still getting update your ???? flash. I know one of them is a come'on, so don't want to grab that one. Most of the vids that people post on here will not play on mine, neither on Firefox - - get a large with box with a small circle in top left corner with a diagonal line in it. This is all since that stupid program I had to clean out. Think I caught a file I shouldn't have.

What a day finialy broke down and went to the ER at the Beckley VA for my gout. Got two shots one for pain one for the gout to help start cleaning it up. Also found out I have major structural problems with the foot because of the aurthitis and gout problems I'm having.
