Tim Horton's

FiverBob,

I have to "second" your remarks about Tim Horton's.

Their Apple Fritters, especially, are GREAT!!! The coffee & other donuts are good, too.

I'm amazed at just how popular Tim Horton's are. I was in Ontario in 2004 & while driving through Guelph, Ont., I saw two Tim Horton's at one intersection.

They can be found in the Detroit, MI. area, also. Hope they make it out to Phoenix. That may be a bit of a stretch, though.

I love Chick-fil-a I don't get by there too often but I have always had great service and gotten in and out quick even when packed. Only problem is they are closed on sunday. They are a very Christian business and give lots to charity and even have some marriage building classes that they sponsor. A great company for sure.

Yes. I must make a retraction regarding the Whataburger. Would be kinda hard holding all that together. And yes,one would do.

Fiverbob. Never heard of Shania Twain? Are you SERIOUS ?

Now that's funny right thar. I don't care who you are.

They are finally making a apperance here in So Cal. My kids love them (I can't lie, I do too). My daughter is happy to have a resturant in Cali where you can go in there and order sweet tea. Love the lemonade.

But do the SoCal versions have sweet tea?

Dang Left Coast eatin' places - can't get proper tea out there. Every time my wife's niece comes back here from East LA the first place she wants to stop on the way out of the airport is a Chick-Fil-A That girl likes her sweet tea, now.

I had never heard of them but I live on the west coast. When I did hear of them it was the fact that the are willing to let people who home brew bio diesel take old grease. Not too many chains that will let us do that.

Why yes, yes they do. And it's good sweet tea. They must get training from some sweet little ole southern lady.

There has been one for years over in LA in one of the malls. They are just now spreading to other areas. Been a long time waiting. And I grew up in GA less than 5 miles from the original Dwarf House in Hapeville where they got their start.

I love me some Chik-fil-a, now if we could just get a Sonic within about a 100 mile radius I'd be set. To make it even worse they play Sonic commercials on TV around here, but as far as I know there isn't one anywhere in the state.

LOL My step father just said last night if he ever moves, one if the requirements is going to be that the new house has to be close to Sonic. That's one place I had never heard of until a trip to his house in Alabama about 5 years ago.
