Jack, Sorry to report. I ran a quick ground straight to battery, the noise is back. I thought we had it, darn. I guess I'll have to live with it, unless there is something else to try?

I know this will sound dumb,but where is the pump located in relation to the cb. I know its not in the cab but it still may be close enough to get interference from it. Just a thought.

The pump is mounted under the bed, just forward of the rear driverside tire.

I can tell when my FASS is running, just turn on the CB. Don't use it enough (the CB) to bother me but I'd try and isolator on the power side like I did on my old truck and it eliminated about 95% of the noise. It's basically a 1 to 1 transformer that eliminates the solid link to the battery or power source.

I always got mine at Radio Scraps (Shack), about three dollars or so.
