Calling all practical jokers, smart alecks, wisenheimers and even the village idiot
My BIL informed me a couple days ago that he is planning a surprise party for my sister's 50th birthday. I need some ideas for things to do, questions to ask, etc. that would be appropriate for this occasion. I know many of you have participated in events like this so fire away, I'm all ears!
I was thinking about a quiz, how well do you the guest of honor?

Man, I have some old people jokes, let me tell you what....
It's mostly geared toward the Marine Corps, but maybe you can get some ideas... I'll ask older Marines what it was like to kill people with spears from the backs of dinosaurs, how they sent smoke signals, how tight did the string have to be between the two cans, how hard was it to write reports in stone...
Just think about historical events that shaped the country, then plug them into it... 'What was it like being the crew chief for the
Wright brothers?' 'Just how cold was the Potomac when you and George Washington crossed?' 'When you fought in the civil war, did you fight for the North or the South?'
hth...

Figures it was you who posted this. And the Hat had to chime in. Now here I am
Go to a thrift store and get her a walker or a cane.
Geritol
Depends
magnifying glass
Don't use them all, you'll need something for the 60th. LOL
All of the above is what I am getting you for your 80th this year.

She would be rich if she would have invented the patent office before she invented the wheel.

for my 40th, people came with short, written stories of being with me. others brought a photo. then some bright soul put them all jumbled on a posterboard for everyone to read , a story with a photo- didn't matter that they had nothing in common. had to admit, it was hilarious.
for my 50th, no one knew where i was, just hubby and me. har har
saw a nice one (where everyone had to show up) that had all the friends names on colored squares. put all together it said happy 50th b day.
nice for the bring a dish to pass crowd.

I logged onto hover round a while back and put my dad's info in for free information... I didn't put the phone number in, but they figured out what it was and called him every couple of days...

One prank that works for all ages is to remove all the labels off all the canned goods.
Print off a label that says geritol and put that on all the bottles and jars in the fridge.
Collect about 50 pieces of pipe, bolts, duct tape etc and put it all in a box, wrap it real nice and have an assembly manual for a scooter in there too.
Give out Chris' number as the senior assist line for the scooter.
I hear he will come out and do a free demo too.

The folks here popped a ceiling tile out on ether side on my office and filled the whole office full of black balloons. They used the air compressor and filled about 400 of them.
