She's alot better today, almost 100%. She missed almsot 3 days last week due to the CRUD, I'm glad she's feeling better. I took care of her while she was sick too.

I hate how the body goes sideways with a virus. It just keeps feeling colder and I keep getting Hatter, mean weaker. J/K
Its near 11 pm on 'my' Friday night and I am unable to watch a movie with my wife...just too uncomfortable. whaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaaaa
Time to find some comfort here.
Just looked and we are the coldest in Canada. Temp is falling and the wind is rising. Gonna go crank up the heat more, grab another comforter and drop some flu meds.
I am outta here.

I have a few left overs if you want me to fax them to you. Sounds like were almost done with snow here for the winter.

Good! Ive been waiting all day until all you sicko's left. Actually, I am laying low. Cant get my BP down, think I had a relapse on the cold and I can out whine and complain better than any other DTR member. At least I am good at something. Oh, I chipped a nail, stubbed my toe and still dont have any beer.

Oil of Oregano.
If that stuff doesn't kill what ails you... you ain't getting better.
Other than that, things is things, normal form in the middle white north. Temps all over the board, becoming standard this winter. Weather is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.
Finally finished off a couple jobs that took way too long, now its time to get into more jobs that will take way too long. Wheeeeeeee.
Got some more firewood cut up today, now that the usable light takes us nearly to 1845, I can get stuff done before dark.
Tomorrow is Monday, so remember, aim low, reach your goals... avoid dissappointment.
Have a good week

Morning all.
Been on generator power since 0200. Probably going to be another 24 to 36 hours before we get line power back too. If the idiots would perform even a little line maintenance, we probably wouldn't have lost it.
Today is Monday, February 21st.
On this day in 1804 - The first self-propelled locomotive on rails was demonstrated in Wales.
1842 - John J. Greenough patented the sewing machine.
1858 - The first electric burglar alarm was installed in Boston, MA.
1878 - The first telephone directories issued in the U.S. were distributed to residents in New Haven, CT. It was a single page of only fifty names.
1916 - During World War I, the Battle of Verdun began in France. The battle ended on December 18, 1916 with a French victory over Germany.
1947 - Edwin Land demonstrated the Polaroid Land Camera to the Optical Society of America in New York City. It was the first camera to take, develop and print a picture on photo paper all in about 60 seconds. The photos were black and white. The camera went on sale the following year.
1965 - Malcolm X was assassinated in New York City at the age of 39 by assassins identified as Black Muslims.
1975 - Former U.S. Attorney General John N. Mitchell and former White House aides H.R. Haldeman and John D. Ehrlichman were sentenced to 2 1/2 to 8 years in prison for their roles in the Watergate cover-up.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
If you have x-ray vision, and you can see through anything, wouldn't you see through everything and actually see nothing?
No coffee or ph00... gotta save what little power we have!

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
If you know about the blue ox, your age is showing - big time.
For the rest of you that are under the weather (pun intended) hope that you survive and that your winter does end this year.

Morning. Added some octane to the joe this morning. Was up all night plowing so I could get to work today. Donuts and dragon out playing in the snow, they missed it.
