Neat stuff. It was sometimes a pain to get the kids to the after school stuff but I think it really helped them out. Glad you are involved.

Morning. Poked my head in here a few times over the last couple of hours, but a strong fishy smell made me nauseous and drove me away. Can't imagine what the coffee will taste like today. Not going to risk it, so am outa here.

Well that's not entirely true. He lives 45 minutes from the closest babysitter that will still work for him. Most get scared when he gives 'em a ride home and they never come back again!
Yes we would.
Morning all.
Today is Saturday, February 26th.
On this day in 1863 - U.S. President Lincoln signed the National Currency Act.
1907 - The U.S. Congress raised their own pay to $7500.
1919 - In Arizona, the Grand Canyon was established as a National Park with an act of the U.S. Congress.
1929 - U.S. President Coolidge signed a bill creating the Grand Teton National Park.
1930 - New York City installed traffic lights.
1933 - A ground-breaking ceremony was held at Crissy Field for the Golden Gate Bridge.
1945 - In the U.S., a nationwide midnight curfew went into effect.
1952 - British Prime Minister Winston Churchill announced that Britain had developed an atomic bomb.
1987 - The U.S.S.R. conducted its first nuclear weapons test after a 19-month moratorium period.
1993 - Six people were killed and more than a thousand injured when a van exploded in the parking garage beneath the World Trade Center in New York City. The bomb had been built by Islamic extremists.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
If you can't afford a doctor, go to an airport - you'll get a free x-ray, and a breast exam, and if you mention Al Qaeda, you'll get a free colonoscopy!
FINALLY, real coffee is on! Ph00 t00.

Hard to tell, but I'm not gonna check, but looks like maybe a pair of lady's stockings wadded up in the corner. Speaking of food, anybody seen the donuts this morning?

Marc, the only good thing about that tree is the power company will cut it back to the house.
Afternoon, just popping my head in. Working on plumbing, YUCK! Pipes should be drained by now, time to vacuum out the arachnid super highway. Just a heads up, if you're on a public water system and the water board changes your meter for any reason, you need to find out if the new one has a check valve on it. As I understand it, they are now required in most places. The water department changed mine last summer and I've had a boat load of issues ever since. I finally got them out here at the house this week and found the root of the problem, the check valve. The valve will not let water back past the meter and when the hot water tank cycles it raises the pressure in the water lines to the point of bursting. I've had one line develop a pin hole leak, one pressure regulator fail and I found out yesterday my neighbor to the right had an outside line bust. I'm having to install a pressure tank in the line to resolve my issues. Can you say not happy.

OK, scratch the plumbing for a little bit. I'll have to build a shelf for this thing to sit on that allows me to access the bottom of the unit. Then, I'll have to get a water pressure gauge because............... you have to match the water pressure to the air pressure in the the tank. Grrrr.....
