I can't see a thing. Too much ash. Must be 3-4 feet of the stuff and it just keeps falling from the sky. Think "Dante's Peak"........

Not. Bark is about 400 miles South of me and the volcano is farther south than that. Clear skies here for now.

Good afternoon DTR. I hate stupid drivers, must be a full moon coming soon because the roads were full of them today. Ok done ranting.

Josh, hope all is going well for you. You labeled the best things to have right now... a decent job, good friends and family. Thats all that matters, everthing else just goes along with it.

I hear ya Matt. Can't complain really..can I?

Things are going well. Looking on the up and up. Nice to no longer have that drama in my life. I UPS'd her a few items this morning. I kept a few things that brought back good memories. I also wrote her a letter...letting her know that I am there for her and how I really feel. Maybe she'll acknowledge my generosity and willingness to care. Who knows. Oh well. Life is good.

Today's was the final check before doing some biopsies. Thankfully, everything is back to normal so no ouches. Back in four months for a follow up to make sure it is staying that way.

Yeh, the repaired wing is acting up again, but I am nursing it along. I'm flying in circles too, but still flying. Guess I will have to break down and get it fixed again. Man that hurts. Hope yours is doing good, Scotty. The rehab is worse than the operation and that was bad enough.

Got my shingles shot today. Any of you over 60 that have not taken one yet, do it. Expensive, but sure worth it. My wife got shingles on her leg last year and was one miserable puppy for 3 months. The salve for it was $1100. That stuff can do some nasty things to you, like make you go blind. She still has scars on her leg and it is over a year now.

Ok, enough grusome stuff - - going to go eat. Have a great evening. And, go to bed some of you crazees.

Bob

Afternoon all. Sitting here waiting for class to start. My mother took my grandpa to the ER a bit ago. He has been really dizzy recently and not feeling himself. I guess he got hurt doing some stuff in the backyard. He is about 83 and works like he is 25. God Bless Him. Quite possibly the hardest working man I know, and that says a lot. I love the guy to death. Korean Vet. Hopefully class gets out early so I can head over to the hospital. Keep him in your prayers please.

Josh

Doesn't sound like you have a reason to complain, I think you did a good thing Josh with the letter and all. Gives good closure and still show her you care about her. Its good for her if she realizes it, if she is ever in a bad spot and needs help she still can ask you for advise. It took a couple years for my ex and I to reach a good speaking point, I was always the good one with the break up, she was the nasty one about it and it was her idea. But eventually she saw me in public one day with my current GF and realized how happy I was and how well off I am and that maybe she messed up. Now if she calls or texts me she's always been polite. I'll list to what she has to say but I really don't have any feelings for her anymore, its been almost 6 yrs since we've been apart and I feel I am better off without her. It makes me smile in a sick sense knowing she is unhappy with her actions towards me in the past and how her current life and relationship are going. I seems to find happiness in others misery sometimes, especially in that situation. She's miserable and I'm very happy, funny thing is she know I'm happy and still doesn't want to face it. Oh well, her lose my gain.

Actually never knew anyone that had them. Is it a rash or more like open sores?

Very well said buddy. I've decided that I shouldn't let her run my life into the ground. I can and WILL be happy without her. I'll let her decide where to take this. I truly want her to be happy, but how she has taken to my willingness to care and try to be a friend has put a bad taste in my mouth. Cheers for being there for me pal.
