Actually stayed above 0* last night for once. Still quite a bit of wind out there but that'll go eventually as well.
Looks like we may be in for some ash and whatnot from Redoubt. There are reports of ash falling in Healy which is only a bit over 100 miles south of here. I may not wash my truck before breakup after all. Oh well.....

Hat - - we went to Egypt, Jordan and Israel. Had a cold when we left and went downhill from there. Came home with both lungs 1/4 full of fluid. They had a fit, now one year, trying to kill them little buggers in my body. Makes you rethink trips.
Lovely day down here with light clouds, warm sun, low humidity. Been out working with my gardener getting the spring clipping done the way I want it. The gardenias are starting to bud all ready - - one out in full bloom this morning, dwarf ixora blooming, Indian hawthorne with thousands of little flowers - - sure nice.
OK, doing to grab lunch. Have a great one.

Cracks me up. We are 30+ miles from Redoubt and havent gotten any ash (this time). Meanwhile Skwentna and others are getting dumped on.
Last year my 80yo mother went to Egypt on a tour. She caught some crud that almost killed her. Dunno
