[QUOTE=Mexstan;2691401]A Minx? That gutless flathead 4 cyl? Or was that an overhead cam? Can't remember. Yes, the Mini Minor was Morris.
In my teens I ended up with a Triumph Mayflower. I called it my mini Rolls. Now there is a car that the majority of you will not know.
had a triump TR6. hooked up from a police auction. found it's way to the bottome of the river. stripped, totally redone and started out being shocked by paying 30 bucks for a mechanic's manual. learned that was the cheapest part. flat six, over drive convertible with spinner/knockoffs. drove down to tennessee, viewing the scenery from underneath the tractor trailers..... still have that pic. LOL

"For being down state"? Like Grand Rapids is the destination of choice for anyone! Or Big Rapids for that matter.
Actually, I figure a little more north of US-10. But actually the area surrounding Big Rapids actually is a recreational destination. The Muskegon River right there, is where I took Heidi trout fishing. You aughta visit more.

Evenin' all!
Back from my little outing onto the Tanana flats. Came back with 2 beaver and a mink. Reset and baited the traps and left them for another week. Fun time. Lots of work though. Shovel the snow off, punch the hole back open enough to get the trap out, clean the hole, rebait/reset and re cover the set. Move to the next one.
Chain saw was our friend. Doing that by hand would have been miserable.
Snowmachine will do 80mph without trying on the river. Lots of fun.
Need a mug of coffee now. Gotta beat back the chill a bit.

Right there with ya Marc. Got Deadliest Catch playing in the background right now.
Actually contemplating some snowshoeing myself soon. My buddy is babysitting Kaily right now. When I pick her up later, I'll probably grab his golden, Bailey, too and take them in the woods snowshoeing. Might take a carbine too for soem varmints.
