Yes it had a bad headgasket. We actually sent it to a Freightliner to have the hg done the first time. I was at the station and the company owner did not want to wait. We got the truck back leaking oil by the gallon then a couple days later it started burning coolant. So instead of sending it back I tore into it, sent the head out for machining yadayadayada, then once all back together I was runing the overhead when I noticed a sever lack of valve travel on the #1 hole. Apart it all came again, that is when I did the kdp, as like your truck it was the older style. Its all gooderer now.
Morning ladies and gents. Looks like we are going to miss yet another snow storm,(wooohooo) I love it. Looks like Jersey and south are going to get pummeled.

Morning all.
Today is Friday, February 5th.
On this day in 1783 - Sweden recognized the independence of the United States.
1861 - Samuel Goodale patented the moving picture peep show machine.
1881 - Phoenix, AZ, was incorporated.
1900 - The U.S. and Britain signed the Hay-Pauncefote Treaty, which gave the U.S. the right to build a canal in Nicaragua but not the right fortify it.
1937 - U.S. President Roosevelt proposed enlarging the U.S. Supreme Court. The plan failed.
1987 - The Dow Jones industrial average closed above the 2,200-point for the first time. The market closed at 2201.49.

I'll give Michael the message you left in your previous post... he has not yet discovered that DTR is more important than life itself, and thus doesn't check in very regularly. He might be back HERE before he knows he's supposed to call you!

Talk to you this weekend.
Classes went well. Lots of smart people can save lives now or learn how to start fires!!
Had a 4 alarm fire Merrimac M.A. to Amesbury tonight. Defensive mode within 8 minutes. Fire thru the roof, water supply issues, etc.
