Evenin' All!
Been MIA for a few days..... Busy with chores and such. Got pretty much everything done that needed done so I can come back to jail for the week. 25 years on installments......
Hauled fuel to the house this week. Cheaper than having it delivered by $.12/gal
. I have enough polys to haul 50gal at a time. so it ain't too much of a PITA.
Just found out that Hades froze over.......
I get to be Acting Supervisor this weekend. Apparently none of the other sups want to work Superbowl so the man who won't promote me didn't have a choice. It's probably killing him to ask me to do it.....
-20* tonight headed for -40* supposedly. I'll keep the pot full tonight.

Kinda funny. It's not to bad down here. 23*. I think it got up into the upper thirties today after the little snow flurry we had cleared out. Pretty nice actually.

Couldn't feel my fingers, toes were MIA, etc.... Went inside and temp was -3*. That's usually t-shirt weather.next day was -20* and I was wearing the light weight stuff and roasting.....

Ya I know what you mean. Kinda the same thing here last week. Wans't cold but man IT WAS COLD!!
Had a couple trees come down across a fence and the cows were wondering. I thought I would never warm up. It was only 10* not really cold. No wind either.

Al Gore has an invite to come up here and split wood.
Been surfing some dog rescue sights for possibly another flatcoated retriever. Those places can be pretty stifling on their adoption process. Probably a lot easier to arrange a breeder and not much more expensive. Some of these places must not be too hard-pressed to thin their heard.
