Good morning DTRonians

Grabbed me a cup of Joe and headed for the office only to find a stack of beer cans on my desk, in the shape of an anchor and globe.....

I miss all the GOOD meetings

Have a safe day everybody!

Morning all. Well I'm off to watch the Edmonton dyno for a little while. Should be fun. Then meet my eldest daughter thats in from Ft St John in the afternoon.

Nice weather here but the roads are getting sloppy, sand and salt I hate them.

Coffee is better changed the little filter, the old one must have had something growing in/on it.

have fun and drive safe.

There's a filter in there??? I sure didn't know that! I guess it would explain a few things.

Whoooo Hoooo! Heatwave!!!!!

Okay fellers!!! Hurts to think the Southern guys are getting thsoe temps down there....ewww! magic nights on a rainy Georgia night in the pines.....

it is a HEATWAVE here with sunshine!! t shirt weather at 21 degrees, time to go out and baby the little 85 mercedes with fuids and a new hood handle (the other broke off in the sub zero temps) but it started with no plug in heater- EVERY time!! love that little diesel....

take a little break this weekend and visit with the collgege son. Going to his old highschool to cheer on his former swim team (why do they love the school AFTER they leave???) My son was a triple champion swimmer for the state- pays to split wood by hand and be skinny enough to suck in your gut and show a spine (eeeek- still grosses me out)... glad he's happy!

C'Mon ADMIT IT_ you guys just miss your furry janitor.....the place just ain't 'right' with out him....what's this about filters? he was using those green scrubby pads ......and you miss that, don't ya?!

MADBEER< er MADHAT; you can lose all you want to the wife- I just want to see the looks of any car dealer that you try to deal with...LOL
I bet it WON'T be 'soft and gentle' as you say.....
Good to hear everyone is stirring from the deep freeze in their parts (well not THEIR parts, but where they live)
SHORTROUND-- aw man! You're killing me with that equipment!! had to make my own back hoe and grapple (thanks to Chaikwa for the subframe) might make up a front loader too.....just too cheap to buy one new. have had it with EBay....
funny funny stuff with CSI shortround, and armour plating it though 04 and totally rick....

Here's a chore lunch for those who come in late- scrambled eggs, diced red peppers and onions with ham; thick cut bacon with maple syrup (make it myself) buckwheat pancakes you can't get enough of (light and thin) and some venison sausage piled high and grilled. adult beverages optional. I am out to fix a four wheeler and drop off some gifts /visit some far away folks.
enjoyingthesunshine Heidi Has anyone seen my wallet?

Hey your honor, I am enjoying almost 70* weather here. Nice... What Janitor?
Speaking of car dealers, the local dodge place called me again today... man, they really want my truck. They are trying to sell me an 06 3500 6 speed. I'm thinking about it.... but not too hard. I told them when they can get me in the same exact truck that I have now for 23K after trade and my truck was paid off, then they could call me. The manager said he'd talk to me Tuesday...

Time for Beer. I miss scott. PM'd him the other day.
See ya'll in a bit...

Hi gang,

Still here, Wannabee - - two more weeks and we are out of here - - three weeks and we are on the train. You won't hear from me for a while then - - lucky birds.

Sitting here very sore - - leg muscles all in cramps - - you every stand on a ladder for two days running a power buffer on a 36' fiver. Wow, I hurt. Thought I was in pretty good shape - - guess not so great after all. You would never know I walk/run about 2 - 4 miles a day and bike about 6 miles every other or so day. Seems like you can't see the other end of that fiver after about 3 hours on the ladder - - looking good, though. Needed it bad.

Looks like nothing has changed - -still griping about the coffee, can't find the maid, Redleg is still messing around, Madcap is now tending sick kids, 04 is whining for brownies - - wow, what a bunch of wimps we are. At least Top sounded on "TOP" of everything.

Gotta run, supper is on.

Howdy all,
This is a slow place on Saturday nights.
Sittin' at home alone, no truck, no wife .......just me and my bottle of Single Barrel JD.
Truck at dealership 'til Monday getting oil leaks fixed, wife out with friends at some pottery painting thing. Women will think of any excuse to have a bunch of other women over. (Candle parties, scrapbooking parties, "toy" parties, cooking utensil parties, food parties, the list goes on)
Folks were supposed to be here tonight from PA, but they left on Friday instead of Thursday. Stopped in Horsecave KY last night and didn't leave there today because of bad weather on the rest of the route (around Nashville). No idea when they will be here.

This round is on me,
(hey, when you are the only one around, a round is pretty cheap)

Mad, i say we build the next empty beer can pyramid on top of Bob's Fiver, and let the empties drain on his new wax....

5er, how's the cholesterol with all that PT?

too cold to PT here, and too much youth group stuff (valentines banquet tonite, got decorations at a discount - wooo hooo!)

Chris, i tell ya, you might be on the wrong track with this kid,
why not invite him over, show him to work with the horse, how to feed him, groom.
most kids like works that has a purpose, and you can see a physical difference at the end.

you might the "parent" he needs to pay attention to him. you would be amazed how much most kids are ignored.

i had a guy take me under his wing when i was a teen, taught me alot, about being a man, doing what was right, saying what right, and meaning it.

his name was good, no matter where we went or what we did, folks knew to reckon with him straight, cause they won't be but one side to the story - the truth.

maybe it's time for you to teach some young fella that. if you don't teach him some manners while he is in his teens, he will be stealing your stuff in his twenties, is how i feel.

i would rather would work the kids now, than be scared of them later

<oh, ok, rant mode off.....>
<slides Senior Chief hat back in closet....>
<mad sighs, a'cause he's done tired my advice....>

That explains the coconut and other fruity smells in the breakroom.
