Evening gents and germs.

Still nothing to report. Chaikwa still smells and desperately needs a haircut.

Actually the Mother Ship is a 2001 Ram. He has an extra propane RV refrigerator that holds a full keg. For some reason people like to park close to him.

Interesting stuff. Over the years I have bumped into a few Norwegens and was impressed with them. They seemed to like Americans and were more conservative than I thought they would be.

Norwegians are pretty good in general. They seem to all have the attitude that family and friends come before anything else. When it comes to work, it doesn't seem to matter if it gets done today or not as long as they are sure they are adequately trained to do the job and its done right.
I think Norway would be a great place to make a working retirement.

Evening DTR. My Sis In-Law's wedding on saturday went well, everyone had a good time! Relaxed this morning then cleaned up the truck, mowed the yard, and went to the grocery store with this wife this afternoon. Back to normal work in the morning, training is done for a while. I'm waiting to start basic electricity and 3-phase class. Those class probably won't be until this fall or winter, once I complete them I'll be eligible again for OT.

Yeah, that crap changed in a hurry. I've been staying pretty busy. We're on the downhill now, no more assignments.

Im not allowed to go to auctions. Years back I bid on a case of bananas for a buck and an old english piano for 25 bucks. Turns out my banana bid was for the whole dang lot of them (14 cases) and the piano was only good for target practice. You can only make and freeze a limited amount of banana bread.
We were living in Anchorage at the time so I sent the kids around the neighborhood putting cases of banana's on doorsteps, pushing the doorbell and running like mad.
