Evening all! Matt, I told you not to worry. Glad everybody else got called back too.

Just finished supper, spaghetti tonight. Moved the loader about 30 miles today and got in about 3 hours this afternoon. Rain headed this way for tomorrow so who knows what will happen.

Hey Matt, good news on the job! But don't slack off on the other prospect.

Had hamburgers for dinner tonite. At least that's what they started out as, (I think). They came out kinda, um... 'gummy' I guess would be a good word to describe them.

now I have gas.

Coffee's on.

blackpowder starts now, hubby needs a deer! spent some time at the bank getting rolls of dimes, filling up wine bottle for new tv (plasma). kinda fun- like being kids again! 15 years this January saving. need help moving the four foot bottle- shaped like a knight.

Heidi off to get wood and lovin' it!
Time to invest in a nice scope with a very large objective lense and little magnification to go on your favorite rifle.

You must have quite a nestegg if you can afford that many LED's, Heidi. Adopt me - - please.

Just got in from choir practise - - trying to get ready for the pageant. Director was not happy - - I remember those days. I was not fun to be around about this time when I was doing it. I have empathy for him.

Think I will grab a short cup of ph00 and get out of here. I might get too warm with Marc around at +2 degrees. Please don't remind me of those days - - - hated it. Only have orange juice in my veins any more.

Sleep tight, gang.

Show up in your underwear. It throws them off balance. Its been over 20 years since I took that interview. Funny thing was I had decided that I really didn’t want the promotion so I actually did pretty well. Led to good stuff in the long run.

Most everything I DO here throws them off. Been that way since I interviewed for the level 1 position years ago and it's only gotten worse.

I don't really want it yet but I figure the interview practice can't hurt. much. Then again the position might be changing and I might want the new one...... we'll see.

Nothing major going on. I was actually paying attention. RedLeg got the deer. Sounds like it cost him a radiator. Maybe he will post a picture. We are trying to find out when the BBQ venison is going to be served and ofcmarc and I are still whinning about the cold.

A buddy hit a deer in a ford ranger going fast enough that all the damage was a broken grill. but everytime you turned the heater on, the truck smelled like buck in rut for about an hour...

Thanks T-rad, I wasn't too worried about not having a job. The part that worried me was when I'd be losing it, I had no clue when I would get cut.

Thanks Chaikwa, and I will not give up on the other prospect. It is too good of a job to pass up if and when they offer it to me.

One more day and the we'd send the Janitor lookinf or you. Good to see you back Hat! And thanks, glad there are no cardboard boxes or burning barrels in my future.

Heidi, are you affraid 5er and I will burn something with the candles? I'd never do that (Coming from the guy that has caught himself on fire a few times.) Gonna try your venison burgers this weekend i think. Got my ground venison thawing in the fridge now.

Evening all, GF came over tonight. i washed the black crap off the truck this afternoon, the truck was seriously a different color before I washed it. Too cold outside to do it so I did it in the garage in the heat. GF and I had dinner tonight. She had a burger and I had a strip steak at the local pub, the steak isn't on the menu normally but the waitress knows us well enough that I can order it with out it being on special or the menu. Very good dinner, cooked just like grandma use to cook it. Week is half over now, should be a good rest of the week.

We hired a new guy into the engineering department a month or so ago.
We went out to lunch one day at a local burger joint. The waitress told me what I wanted (philly cheese steak with fries and pepsi). Couple days later, the local pizza buffet, the waitress never asked me what I wanted to drink, she just asked him. Another regular lunch place, the waitress again asked between my two usuals. At that point it become almost embarassing. while there is something to be said about being a regular, there are times when your just there too much.

btw, tomorrow is friday for me.
