-27* gettin' a blast of real winter today. Got som Chechakos at work that are gonna be complaining.

Kinda slow in here last night. I figured on at least 4 pages of reading to catch up.

I' ll drain the left overs in the pot the janitor brewed and start another. Oh, I found the donuts. They're in the closet reinacting Gulliver with the dragon.... Kinda creepy.

 

Somebody must have turned the fence off again. I feel sorry for the dragon.

Good coffee guys but my back hurt too much this morning to try and catch one of those donuts....they are getting harder to rope all the time! Wife starts her 2 week vacation today so NO rest for me hahaha We leave for a Bahamian Cruise on a Carnival ship in a few days, so try not to let those donuts stack up around here....You know how those things multiply if no one is harassing them

looking at snow and ice here. not plowing it or working in it feels nice. ahhhh retirement. husband needed a project so he is working in the barn.

hmmmm just had roast venison last night, wild rice w/ sesame sauce and cucumbers in sour cream and (despite Christmas cookies) had raspberry pie with maple walnut ice cream and real cool whip! later, during tv , so to maximize the bulge effect.

simple one is skillet venison burger with black beans (do not drain) petite tomatoes with basil, olive oil (canned stuff) and a little minced onion. simmer covered, let sit and cool off a bit. vala! she will love you for it!
