My wife wants to get a little more power out of her 2000 Dodge QC 2500 4x4with a 5.9L V8, auto trans, and 4.10 gears. Which brand is the best performance chip for her pickup without doing any tranny upgrades? This is our first late model Dodge and I haven't ever done any mods to these pickups before. Should we be thinking of adding a cold air intake to it as well?

I have a friend that has a 5.9 gasser and he installed cold air, exaust and a JET Stage 1 performance chip. He said the cold air and exaust made the biggest difference. He thinks JET has a Stage 3 out for them now also. Don't remember what he payed for the chip but it wasn't as much as a programer for our trucks.
