Now, now, now...I don't think that is entirely true. In fact, I don't think it's true at all. On the one occasion that I have been to the Tech campus I was treated like the stuff that comes out of all those cows in the feed lots out there. People yelled at me...called me names...flipped me off...attempted to pour beer on me...told me to go back to College Station...and all of that simply because I was wearing an A&M shirt while walking across campus towards the football stadium. I said or did nothing to provoke such nonsense. I have been treated better on the campus of t.u. than I ever was at Tech.

You wanna know why Aggies don't care much for Tech fans? Because every time y'all come to our campus you VANDALIZE it by painting little "TT" signs all over the buildings on campus...because you slash our tires and scratch a "TT" in the paint on cars that you find with an A&M sticker on them...because you "paint" a TT in the grass of the MSC with gasoline (which happens to be a memorial for Aggies who have died in past wars)...because when you beat us in football you decide it would be funny to tear your own goal post down and try to force it right through the stands where all of the Aggies are sitting. Yes, all of that stuff REALLY happened...plus a lot more. Yep...some of you Tech fans are a real class act.

As to your comments about Aggies thinking they are better than other schools. I didn't find that to be the case when I was there. We were taught from our first time on campus to treat visitors with respect and courtesy and to say "Howdy" to everyone. I know I did that and I know a lot of other Aggies did that too. Granted, there are bad apples everywhere you go, but at A&M the bad apples are generally scolded for being bad apples. At Tech they are encouraged to continue until they have gone from bad to rotten.

By the way, I never knew anyone who had a problem with CT's either. I did know a few CT's who sort of snubbed their noses at "non-regs", but in general I think everyone respected the Corp as the "Keepers of the Spirit".

You might check your facts before you go off trying to upset Aggies by spouting off false information.

Sorry for the rant. It ruffles my feathers a little bit when I hear a Techie spouting off hypocritical falsities about the school that I know and love.

 

I promise you NOBODY I know treats people like that. The ones that do most tech students don't like. I'm sorry all of the morons in this crappy town treated you that way, but I've gotten the same treatment at college station. As far as the vandalism goes, everbody does that to rival schools(not me I'm not in high school) I was just referring to my friends that go to A&M and how I've seen them treat people. I honestly did not know tech fans were like that until I read an article in our paper about A&M fans getting mistreated. I was right about upsetting an aggie by saying that UT is older. I diddn't say it was true. From Wikipedia: A&M 1876, UT 1883. I personally think the reason we were treated the way we were is simply because we go to tech, and the reasons you stated above.

Everyone knows tech is a drunk 5 year school. Thats why were here. I like giving aggies a hard time because they care A LOT more about their school than I do mine.

And some of my comments were to get HOSS to say something, cause' I know he bleeds maroon.

and any time you come to the tech campus, just remember you are proboly the smartest person there.(sorry, I don't have a lot of respect for my school, I've been here long enough)

 

I picked A&M as well, although I only took a summer class there once. I graduated from one of their sister schools, Texas A&M-Commerce (formerly East Texas State)
