Good morning.

So tired. My body is so tired. Last week I started a new 12wk workout, weight lifting based and four day of cardio mixed in too (nuts!). It is kicking my tail. Today is Week 2 Day 1. BTW I love having the smith machine in the house. This not having to go to a gym thing is awesome

Why are there unmentionables hanging off the ceiling fan again?

I see Scotty put my leggings on the ceiling fan again....geesh I suppose I shouldn't complain the last time he got in this mood he tossed my strap on titanium leggs up on the roof.......

Wife is finally home and doing well her surgery Tues was supposed to have her out by Friday and instead they crashed her respiration Thursday and then Friday sent the upper half of her heart racing at 170 bpm....now she has to take heart meds for at least a month until all the chemicals they gave her wears off.

We had a "Come to Jesus" meeting in the Hospital hallway when after telling them about her heart racing the Nurse took a quick listen and left we thought going for a Doc...2 hours later and multiple button pushes hollering for help I had to jerk a knot in the first RN's butt I saw and threaten to break bad like they ain't never seen.......2 mins later the room was so full of doctors and Nurses you couldn't squeeze another one in.

This in the same Hospital she has worked for 40 years...just as soon as I can get someone to sit with her, the hospital Administrator and I are going to have a closed door pow wow that I have no doubt he is not going to enjoy. I try real hard to keep the old E-9 from barking at her co-workers but some things are just plain in-excusable.....I only hope he stands up from his desk when I am chewing him a new off ramp so I can help him get a REAL close look at how well Janitorial Services cleaned his floor.

Very glad Peg is ok considering. Its very difficult to stay calm when things like that go sideways. Hugs from your Younger more eclectic Twinner.

Breathe deep, in....out....in...out.

Now go get em!

You know you can't control big boy, Lary. He just didn't want you to be able to get your LEGGings - - he wants your LEGGS exposed to the world. ...........

That does not sound like fun with the wife. Always scary when they start playing with the old ticker. Makes me a bit uncomfortable sometimes when I know I am in the middle of nowhere (like the Yukon) and start thinking the "what if the 'what if' started happening right now?" A bit unsettling. thoughts and prayers are with you and her. Just be sweet - - the boss didn't do it, but he should know about it so he can upset someone's apple cart a bit. No need for that when someone's life is involved.

Lunch time - - - YEH. ........

Larry, glad to hear your much better half is better.prayers for you both are being sent.
Bob is correct ( hate saying that) in that the boss wasn't there and although he needs be aware, shouldn't be held at fault

Just focus on caring for the ones that matter and remember that everything else doesn't matter

Larry, I'm glad to hear that your wife is doing better. Keep the faith that the man upstairs will help with the nincompoops we have to deal with.

I would however, like to listen in from the sidelines and get some old-fashioned mentoring on how to properly chew out a deserving individual. Always time to learn and improve....

Thanks Everybody for the kind wishes

I know the Boss is not the one at fault but when I had a company under me I made sure I was the one that got my butt chewed when someone messed up...then it was MY job to get it straight with the offender you know the old saying about crap flowing down hill

Anybody ever worked with me can attest to the fact that I never left a troop hanging in the wind but I also made sure some mistakes NEVER happened again

If he truly is the Boss then the buck stops with him and he will handle it accordingly.....The issue was it was at shift change on a Friday night, the off going shift was thinking about party time and the on coming shift had no idea we had been calling for help.

I will have someones head on a pike before this is all over I can GUARANTEE you that....If I don't raise a big stink someone could die next time and I don't want that on my mind.

I'm on the other side, KCMO and I'll be here a couple more weeks from the looks of it. They're not far apart though and I'm working right next to 435 at the Pilot Truck Stop, exit 57. You can't miss us, we're right in front of the truck diesel islands. If you can swing by I'd love to put a face with the name! Shoot, I'll even give you a FREE autograph!
