i tried a hotshotters forum...what a joke. the first guy to reply basically said they are too good to throw 375lbs on a load thats headed that direction for an extra $100 or so. im not paying someone to drive 720 miles just to deliver my stuff...but $100 to throw them in the truck when they are delivering a trailer or something is reasonable to me...but not to those guys.
I referred you to hotshothauling.com and I'm sorry for the response you got there . They have over 1,000 members . A lot of them are pretty decent guys . Your wheels and tires wouldn't take much space on a trailer and it would be good extra money if somebody had a load going that way . Sorry nobody there saw it that way.

You got an offer for PU mid Feb. That's only 6 weeks. If it's that good of a deal you should be able to come up with some options for storage for 6 weeks! Did the seller tell you he won't set them aside, or it that you're presumption?

Make sure he understands he'll get his funds up front. Maybe even offer him some extra for storage. You're making the difference up in "free" freight. Just make sure you make everything right with all parties before sending funds.
