Actually you are not supposed to scour out a cast iron pan.
That seasoned surface is the secret to them . .
just wipe/wash as needed oil & store.

heat that pan up good and hot, till the no stick starts to smoke, then toss in the bologna !

welp, the experiment is over.

we came home from church last nite, and the whole house smelled like baloney ( i had me a sammich, and burnt some hotdogs for the Dogs )

i washed that pan myself. whew, quite funk-tac-ular smelling.

didja look at the Poll results? pretty funny, only one guy uses a new pan.
