Bagpipe and Blugrass music Lovers!!
youtube, type in saskia konz, scotland the brave...That's what I'm talking about! I played in a drum and bugle corp in the late 60's early 70's and also in my high school band. I love any kind of marching and patriotic music especially Sousa. I did play the tuba in high school and the contra bass in drum corp. If you like marching music or corp music check out you tube and search Top Secret Drum Corp Basil Tattoo. Check these dudes out. Plenty more on this site. Now as far as Zydeco is concerned I don't care if you like music or not if you hear a Zydeco song and your foot does not start tapping ...You Are Dead!!. Dave if you see this I hope to get up to one of the Pa. Chapter activities and I will bring some music (if you know what I mean

Cool! Pipe bands are just awesome, I get chills when I hear the chanters start up.
And a good banjo picker will put any big-name rock guitarist to shame when it comes to speed. Flatt & Scruggs were the original speed metal band. The other thing I like about bluegrass is that the ladies can really sing - they don't need to use all kinds of electronic processing to sound good, they just are that good.
Not that electronic processing is bad, it's another art form too. I'm a Portishead fan from way back.
I like all kinds of music you just don't hear on the radio. Bumming a ride with me WILL broaden your musical horizons. Right, Brandon?
