B-12 Chemtool on concrete
Ok, the other day the 1 gallon chem dip metal can spung a leak. It ate through the metal is what happened. Anyway, the chem dip soaked into the concrete and the whole shop smells of this crap. Does anyone know what will neutralize this stuff? The active ingredient is cyscilic acid (spelling?) and that is what causes the smell. The B-12 site said to use rubbing alcohol on the stain and it should draw it out of the concrete. Well, 10 bottles later and the chemical smell is still real strong. I have used alcohol, baking soda, dish soap, super duty hand soap, water...ect.
Any ideas? I have also had the shop exhaust fan on for a week. It does great until you turn it off. Then the smell is right back.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, store this stuff outside somewhere. It will wreck your shop if it leaks.

how did you use the baking soda? I would make a moat around the stain and put a slurry of water and baking soda in there, hoping the acid and the base would react, neutralizing the acid at least. if not, go the other route, dry the area real good, then throw a layer of polyurethane over it, two coats should seal the smell into the floor,
