Heck, I can remember when Arizona wasn't a state, LOL, and I haven't gotten my CD yet. That will be remedied soon.

I am 56 and I have been driving a diesel since 1995 first one being a 6.2 in a tricked out C-30 Chevy truck. I totaled that in 1999 and then I got my Dodge D-350 I am driving now.
I was a diesel mechanic way back in 1975 working on Detroit’s, Cat's, Cummins, Perkins, Kiki and MAN engines.

I learned electronics way back in the middle 1950's building things with vacuum tubes A & B batteries.

How many of you remember the first time we learned the Russians had a satellite orbiting the earth?

I remember going outside and watching Sputnik and Mutnik tumble by in the nighttime sky every 90 minuets and our electric garage doors open by themselves?

Remember ICBM's the Bay of Pigs, Nikita Khrushchev , The haunting wail of the Air Raid Sirens?

Just turned 36, and just bought my first diesel (and this is my 1st post ).

I've already learned a lot here from the bit of lurking I've done.
