That pic was taken after hitting an unavoidable cow moose at ~35 mph. If you look closely, you can tell the damage the passenger side rake sustained. Most people don't notice unless I physically point it out to them.

Just think how a Hyuandai would fare in a battle - they're built even less stought than a moose.

Is that a Bandit Bar? I am thinking of getting one for my 3rd gen. They are the most beefy aluminum bumper I have seen so far. They are expensive, but they will pay for themselves with just one use.

Nope. That's a Festus designed and patented replacement aluminum bumper for a second gen. I designed it, and an aquaintance welded her together - just because I can't weld aluminum worth crap . There's only one in the world like it - that one.

Right! That's the whole idea of a bumper like that.

Here's the damage:

1) The passender side driving light mount was broke by her body - fix was it took Brent longer to rig up his welder than to place the bead.

2) If you look closely, there is a slight upward 1/8th of an inch bend on the passenger side rake made by her leg. If you don't look closely, you can't see it. Heck, it took me two weeks to notice.

If I can pay off some other bills and get a 3rd gen, I'll post a pic. I want to keep the bumper and rework it fo a new truck.

If i can't get Brent to make it fit a 3rd gen when the time comes, this one will be for sale. We may have problems with the recessed lights and the wider frames of the 3rd gen. We won't be able to tell until we get the bumper off a 3rd gen and try to fit it.
