Attracting Fireflies with a Flashlight (and Cow Tipping)

On vacation I get to spend my time on noble and righteous quests.

Mainly, does anybody know if it is possible to attract fireflies to the palm of your hand by flashing a flashlight in a certain pattern?

And, alternately, has anybody actually ever been cow tipping?

No but if you poke them in the left eye, they will fly in a right hand circle

So, I take it that you've tried?

Is there any way at all to attract fireflies to land in the palm of your hand? What if I were to pour sugar in my hand or something?

I got a week to get fireflies to land on my hand. Pride is at stake.

A while back when we first started the house hunt, the wife and I did some research on attracting fire flys. We want them in our yard. Basicly we learned plant places for them to live during the day.

About the flashing, there are hundreds of different kindsof fire flies, and the flashing is a mating thing. Males flying around flashing to females on the ground. A flashlight would be a huge honking mate.

Attempting to tip over a cow in field while its sleeping.

Most people dont get to do it, those that try usually get laughed at because they dont realize how much a cow really weighs, and the cow will start moving and walking around when you try to push on it..

Takes one heck of a stong guy, one sick/weak cow, or a couple normal guys to really push a cow over.

Exactly what it sounds like. Walk up to a sleeping cow, and push it over.

OK. I grew up on the farm. I've tried this. Unless your cows are signifigantly smaller down there, it's not possible. I'm a big guy and I still can't do it. The power to weight ratio isn't there. Until I actually see it, I have to call BS to anyone that says they've actually gotten a cow over.

Now if you were to use a truck, that would be a different story. Probably end up damaging the truck and the cow.
