what kind of car? you could Sea Foam it for him... if you've got access to his keys, it'd be even better (I'm assuming it's fuel injected)

follow the instructions on the can, but use the whole can... when he fires it up it'll smoke like the world's coming to an end! LOL!

but it won't hurt anything... it'll actually help

wrap the car in saran wrap.
spraypaint the car.

For a going away prank on one of my college professors, we got the janitor to open his office door and we strapped several bungie cords to his door handle. when he unlocked and opened his door, it got jerked out of his hands. He almost failed everyone in his advanced physics class over it...

It's a ford taurus , and i used to be able to have access to his keys , but i don't think i can swing that , i do have a diagram of a slim jim in my head though, could make up one of them real quick, i do not want to damage the car in any way.

I sure hope he doesn't drive his truck tomorrow ,99 3500 , CTD , 4x4 , QC , 5 speed

the saran wrap is to keep the car from being damaged when you repaint it...

You could always give him a concrete bedliner.

Pick up the car with a buch of friends and turn it around or move it entirely.
Or open engine compartment and put a hunk of limberger cheese on the exhuast manifold, boy will he have a stinky surprise on the way home!

Some guys are real funny about their vehicles, even the most innocent prank can set them off as they don't like people messing with their ride. I wouldn't touch his vehicle unless you know him well enough to know he won't be upset by it

Fords have the rollover valve. It's a switch that cuts the fuel pump upon the impact of a crash.
Give his frame a nice whack with a hammer or ball bat and it won't start until he resets the switch. The reset is usually in the trunk or under the kick panel on the passenger side. You might have to look at his owners manual to find it and help him get it started again. On second thought maybe that isn't such a good idea.. you may set off the air bag.

Some insulation foam sprayed up the tailpipe generally complicates things for a while.

Whatever wheel drive it is (front or rear) jack it up and put it on blocks so the tires just clear the ground. Buddy did that to me and it was really weird and took a bit to finally push it off the blocks. I got him back though, the horn can be rewired to a lot of things , try the brake lights. Should be fuses for both, just stick a wire in with each. Even funnier in an automatic. Started his truck and put the brake on to put it in gear and ...... .
