I'm not but my wife is from the Charlotte area. Her relatives live in Asheville and in the Black Mountain area. Also have friends that live in Winston-Salem.

I'm sorry, but I'm the one who lives in the 'A-hole' of NC. (Hope I can say that) Good ol' Fayetteville. Actually, I live in Raeford, just west of Fayette-Nam. If you guys get together, I wanna come play too. Just as long as the wife and the Golden Retriever pup can come too.
Cheers, Dave

Oh god, don't get in too big of a hurry. Olee won't. Good luck seeing it again. I think he can do a decent job, but dang does he take his time. I got a buddy who won't speak to him anymore, and he's a very even keeled guy. I heard he was getting out of the business. I reckon not? I'll say this, the twins I've seen him build looked really nice. Good luck on that,

I got a tent, a coleman stove, and a cooler big enough for beer, brats and burgers. I've been wanting to spend some time in western NC. Seems beautiful. My best friend from childhood now owns an irish bar in downtown Waynesville also. Not sure how close (or far) that is from a lot of you, but I could see if he wanted to host something there also. And worst case, I'll bring my fly-rod and try to find a puddle.
