Glad you're back OK, Ed. Stay safe.
I doubt it does much good to chant East anymore. Perhaps we should concentrate on WEAKEN, WEAKEN, WEAKEN. :

I don't recall Tech ever playing in any hurricane either. I remember a thunderstorm a few years back when they showed lightning striking a car in the parking lot. Turned out it was the rental car of the ESPN guy covering the game Should be fun to watch though. If the wind catches the ball just right they may be able to kick FG's all night, no matter where they are on the field.

I'm just hoping for a good game. I don't EXPECT to walk out of there with a win, but it sure would be nice. We'll have to play better than we have the past two games though. :

Good to hear the Men and families are doing ok...sorry I couldn't chant your way out of that one...my native american heritage must be slipping. I must get back to ways of old I guess.

Hey...I said all along that my stakes in this thing weren't very high (in other words I know the game isn't important). I don't intend to sound like it's that important when compared to what's going on out there. I was just addressing the other fella's comments.

No problem...I could have easily taken my football talk to another thread as well. :-
Okay. Now give me a hug. :-*

no offense, but the heck with the football game...

Didn't mean to make light of the situation by talking football, but when I saw mention of the game I just had to jump in. I needed a distraction. Made it home from work o.k. though and still have power here. If we make it through with nothing but a power outage, I'll be gratefull.

Re:Anyone tracking the Hurricane?
Why someone would want to ride out a storm of that nature is beyond me. I been through a couple of typhoons, a North Pacific Williwaw, and some of the wonderful North Atlantic wintertime blows. Didn't like anyone of them. Nothing like rolls of 40 degrees plus(one at 57 degrees) and pitching 25 degrees plus. We were on a 165' gunboat and it beat the crap out of us for 40 hrs straight. The old man was gonna put us in for both flight and submarine pay.
Praying that y'all come through it OK. Call if you need help. Got the saws/trailers/winches/cold beer if needed.
