Anyone tracking the Hurricane?
The high pressure over the mountains will help. If this can push closer to the coast, the storm will slow. There are winds out of the north on the east coast...this maybe causing the storm to weaken, but will also reduce the chance of it going further north....I will remain chanting.....turn north, turn north, turn north.........

I'm watching it as close as I can, from the left coast. I have a lot of chickens back home in Virginia that need to be cared for if this thing hits Va. I have 2 coops and 3 tents (separation coops for breeding) that may be blown away if sufficient winds exist by the time it hits West of Richmond.
The only good thing I can see at this point is the truck is in the garage. ;D I just hope the roof stays on the garage, and the house too. :

if i were you guys id get out right now before the mad rush starts it will slam into the coast very hard. i was listening to weather channel and bywhat they say im guessing it will be one of the worst hurricanes ever :-

Funny?? ??? I was serious. I'm hoping it turns north too. If it hits then there's a good chance my game will be cancelled Thursday night. As I said though...my stakes are nearly as high as those who actually live there.

I was talking about A&M vs. Virginia Tech. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 CST on Thursday night. I don't want it to be cancelled.

I don't think so. They were down to 120 last night.
JKE....keep trying. Maybe you'll sway her. Maybe if you go stand on the east coast and blow real hard towards the east she'll head back out to sea. ;D
