Anyone seen a tire like this on a dyno?

Yep. Use regular tires if you have them on the dyno. I am sure some guys have some stories of chunks of tread just flying off. Also, you can reach tire speeds well over 100mph and a lot of mud tires are not designed for that kind of speed.

Here is mine. It did that a little bit too at a not to long ago dyno event. These are 35'' BFG KM2s.........prob not the most ideal dynoing or drag racing tire.
Same day...diff dyno. Just throwing this one in here to see what you can see. I didn't notice as much tire warp on this one...but I did see more axle wrap. Hopefully the Lazarsmith traction bars will help in that area next time.

Just imagine your tires doing that while towing on a hot day! Mile after mile just waiting to blow out. That's the reason I decided to only run load range "E" from now on. Scary looking.
I wonder if anyone has shreaded one on a Dyno?
