Anyone know of hay for sale in Texas?
I'm looking to put on a local event for local ranchers here in central Texas, since the whole region is short on hay this year. I'm looking for coastal round bales and I'm willing to drive up to 400 miles to buy hay at a decent price. I'm looking to buy anywhere from 50 to 100 round bales and haul them back here, at a decent price, since local guys are charging OUTRAGOUS prices here. Just trying to help out the local guys as much as I can. Thanks for any help.

Everyone should be done cutting this season, because the growing season ended 2 months ago. I'm looking for soneome who has enough already stocked and looking to get rid of some extra bales at a decent price. 5x5's of coastal are going for anywhere from $100 to 120 a bale in my neck of the woods!!!

Our guy cut up until last month. He was selling round's for $45. I'll see if he's got anymore. Got to busy swapping units from the trailer to the ford van (which is actually quite nice now after paint, new floor, and soon a new windshield ) to call today.
