Anyone having problems with Firefox?

I have been a staunch supporter of Firefox for many years now, but since the update that took place a couple months ago...I am seeing some issues. Naturally I keep it updated with all the latest versions, but this last one is shutting down on me repeatedly with no warning.

Just disappears and when I restart it, gives me a message asking if I want to restart it since it had to close unexpectedly This happens a couple times a day and can be quite aggravating when you are trying to work.

Anybody else seeing this issue?

No problems here. I use Firefox exclusively (with Windows Vista I might add) with no issues whatsoever. Hope you get it fixed.

I clear my cookies and cache a couple times a day, I don't know why it just craps out like it does. I am thinking maybe it is a virtual memory issue and firefox is a victim just like me....

Hmmm if I could only get my 2 brain cells both running at once hehehe

I am using Firefox , but a alpha version , when I got it for Mac , called BonEcho .
I've been having some issues , but have been blaming it of a couple of coffee shops that I frequent , mostly time outs , just dropping the connection , when it drops the connection it may last a few minutes or hours , I can go to an other coffee shop & not have any issues , have not taken the time to figure out or talk to firefox , because I assumed it was on the router end , so now you have me guessing different .

I don't use it but my wife does, with no extensions, and she hasn't mentioned any problems. If she was having any she would have

I use Opera, And we are running Linux (Ubuntu) so that may change thigs a little...

Did Microsoft buy Mozilla????

Seriously, my machine at home pulls the same stunt, I just got a new update either last night or the night before, and it hasn't done it since.

My machine at work runs fine!

Have you ran any virus scans lately? Have you "defragmented your disk lately? Spyware? Try these first Lary...Jim

I am running AVAST for Virus software. When I was running the "big" name brands, I still picked up a virus!

I am running the newest version across 3 machines, a windows 98se, XP, and Vista, and none of them have an issue. Maybe a virtual memory or machine problem Lary.
