Anyone else had EBAY cancel your auction??!?
I just got a notice that the sale of my RCI 2950 was cancelled b/c it wasn't legal. Where else should I attempt to sell one. It has been converted to CB channels as well, hence the cancellation. I'm not even sure if it works anymore.

I'm not sure I'll have to go look. I just typed in RCI 2950 and used the quick post to sell it. I did mention it was converted though.

I had one cancelled because of a term I usd to describe the newless of a tractor I was selling.
I say the tires have so little wear that the "t*ts" from the mold are still on there!
I really didn't even think about it. They contacted me and said a sensor caught it as a name commonly used to describe a womans attributes.

I really don't know . It was up to $91.00 but I was selling it as is. I'm not even sure if it works. I may try to put it back on since it had 2 days left on it.

They will cancel any that are termed "Export" radios. I found out the hard way too. Just relist it and do not mention those terms which would say it was converted or do not mention export and it should be ok.
Also they may have the model numbers flagged, that way when one goes for sale they just pull them no matter what.
You were credited the amount of the listing, so your really not out anything other than the hassle of relisting or trying to sell again.

If you recieved the message in an email i would be suspicious. Whatever you do dont click on any links in that email. Go directly to the website and log on. If it cancelled through the website, I dont know what to tell ya.

I put up a bunch of cans of R-12 I have lieing around. They were on 3 seperate auctions. They all got pulled but one I had already sold. I thought nothing of it due to the fact that there were dozens of other auctions selling the same thing. I'm sure they are covering their own rear end as well as the seller/buyers.

Happened to me. I was trying to sell and Infinity 1040w 10" sub and 2 days till the close of the auction, it ended. Got an email from them saying I was infrenging on Harmon Industries rights, forgot which rights specifically, (Harmon Kardon, Infinity, JBL) so they had to remove it. I believe the reason it was taken off was b/c I said it had a 1 year warranty, which it does, but I guess they didn't want warrenty guarentee's popping up all over ebay. I'll guarentee there is a warrenty registration card inside that box though (it was brand new still in box). I was refunded the money but it still ticked me off.
P.S. I"ve still got it and it's still for sale, any takers

IMO e-bay has grown to big for it's own good. I have stopped using it because of all the spyware that downloads every time I go there and then the junk mail that follows. There prices are to high and the last couple of big ticket items I have purchased there have not panned out to be what they were presented as. Far to many dealers involved now, I liked it when it was an overgrown garage sale where people traded off un-needed stuff. There were some bargains to be had, but now most of the stuff listed is new from dealers and I can get that locally.
