Heck of a wind came along with that storm. I could actually feel our jobsite trailer complex shaking.

HOSS,
That same mess came through our place around 7:30 last night. We didn't get too much wind, but the rain was so bad it washed around 6 feet of the bridge, going over our creek, out. Barely enough room to get the truck across. Had enough water flowing, that 4 18" pipes wouldn't hold it. Water was about 2 ft over the top of the road.
Guess I'll rebuild a bridge this weekend.

I live aoubt 3 hours south at Ft Hood. Funnel cloud started to develop over III Corps Headquarters around 2:30pm.....Lots of wind and rain...up to 60mph!

Don't forget the Dallas Auto Show this weekend at the Convention Center...

Hope to see you there on Saturday....

Yeah, there was but nothing too close to me. It came through quick. From the time it started raining to the time it stopped was probably about 30 minutes. It was a HARD rain though, with VERY high winds.

It's 70* and sunny right now. I heard reports of 91mph wind gusts in Wichita Falls, Texas last night. Heard that DFW got hit with some like 50 or 60 mph gusts. We had it windy here but not that bad.
