Anyone buy an extended warranty from chryslerwarranties.com
they say that they are part of a Dodge dealership, Topor Dodge. Looks like they would save me $500 or more on the same package that my local dealer quoted me. I am almost at 3 yrs. on my 2006 1 ton quad cab, still only 25000 miles. I have had several things replaced under existing warranty, kinda got me worried. I know the engine has the Cummins warranty, but worried about expensive stuff.

I haven't. What kind of things were fixed or replaced under warranty, if you don't mind my asking (I have same truck as you). Knock on wood, only thing so far on my truck is re-circulate door broke last week. My truck has only been back to dealer once, early on for some kind of reflash? As you can see from my mods I don't have a warranty anyway. I never buy those, however, if you have had numerous things go wrong with it, and can get it for reasonable price, might not be a bad idea. For sure your blend and re-circ doors/system will likely break.

Recirc door, low freon in A/C, rear wheel speed sensor, rear glass shattered when we shut the door, frames under seat were replaced, they were rusting. I replaced all the valve stems, one blew out in Texas and one was leaking earlier. Just had the steering box replaced, it was leaking fluid.

The original owner of the truck I just bought purchased the MasterCare warranty good for 7 years or 70,000 miles. The truck only has 25,000 miles on it and the warranty, which I gladly paid $50 to transfer to me, is good for two more years or 45,000 more miles, whichever comes first. I think it was well worth it...
