Look at the ricer cars- big japanese letters that sometimes make people able to read the language gag with laughter
In the mid 80s the fashion over here was to have some apparel with cyrillic script on it- this was waay cooool to have anything with cyrillic letters on it. I loved the T-shirts with imprints like:
I'm too dumb to learn to read.
I'm an idiot.
Pigs will eat cheese from my backside. (This one is exitentialistic )
Never cleaned outhouse.
And a lot more that I can't post on a family oriented site, many concerning the size of the brain and other organs.

I think the DTR could put up a nice language staff if it's needed. I'd be really interested to know how hard it is to learn Comanche or any other native American language. I don't think it would enhance my business over here significantly but you never know

Hey, I thought it was a pretty straight-forward question...
The reason is because my family is of German descent. Besides, I'll be able to read it fine once I get this sorted out...

All this for a tatoo?!?! Get it in English!
I'm sure that there's a specific reason to get it in German but it's beyond me why you'd want a tatoo that you couldn't read yourself.

The University of Ok in Lawton used to offer a class, but no-one ever passed it so it got canceled. The Proff who taught it was one of our elders, and a project the Linguistics Dept. did compared Comanche to several other languages, comparing the linguistic structure and difficulty of translation.
the consensus is that is is one of the hardest languages to learn, they compared it to Mandarin Chineese( sp) and said it is harder.
i.e. our alphabet has only 20 charactors, with a total of 38 vocal combinations or sounds made from them....
"A" can be pronuonced 5 different ways for example , and most words have two or three meanings depending on the context they are used in , or the vocal inflection put on them....
I barley speak it, knowing a few phrases and words. I speak at about a 3 year olds level....

I've always kinda wondered if some of these guys I see with Chinese characters tattooed on them got ripped off. I mean, what if the tattoo artist got it off the side of a cardboard box? You could be walking around with a tattoo that said "Fragile" or "This end up" or "Use no hooks".
