I had to google this, just curious or Bord myself.
What's Joost?
Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.

Interesting I guess

A guy in one of my classes this semester did a speech on Joost actually.
It looks kind of cool, but you must have a high speed connection, and you have to wait for it to load up. Commercials are played at the beginning of the show and then you get to watch the show uninterrupted.
The biggest problem is your bandwidth usage for the month. Most companies allow you to have a certain amount of bandwidth usage per month unless you pay for a more expensive account. You can max out your bandwidth pretty quickly if you watched shows all the time.
Overall, its a neat idea and even though its kind of limited on content right now, in the future I bet it would be pretty cool to have.
Thats my .02
