A buddy of mine has a Cleary building with insulation, he's pretty happy with it so far. Had it about a year or so.

General is only (or was) a broker for other peoples steel. For $9800.00 what ga. panels did you get? 40X36 is only a little over half as big as a 40X60. Half the bays. Was it clear span, or did it have post in the middle?

These are popular in my area. 100s of them have been set-up both as shops and as houses. Our new fire substation is a 30X40 from Lucky's. They are very color fast and hold up well.

14ga Pro-Panel II, classic barn red and white...I had posted pictures of the construction last year, but have deleted them since. If you want I can show a few.
Its pole-barn construction, using 5x5 posts on 10 foot centers. Prefab trusses and it is "clear span" across the 36 foot width. On teh one end we have a walk-thru and a split 12 foot slider, a solid 12' slideron teh back end.
2-10' peak vents, and 6 skylights. I provided 5 dutch stall doors ,and the company installed 5 door openings fo r them ( requiring additional posts over the basic package) and installed the doors w/o charge.

Livers Construction out of Ponca OK. This one was the third barn they've built for me, and they took a week to do it from start to finish...the only thing is you haveto have the pad prepared first...
Highly recommend them....

I can definately tell you who to stay away from, the people that built these two trash piles they call car ports in my drive way. I wouldn't tell you on here though, you'd have to e-mail me.

Personally, I'd stay away from wood. JMO, from a commercial Contactor.

I'd vote MORTON also. Seal up nicely. Havent seen many building that were any better built.
