Any Ford techs in here?
I've got a problem with a 1997 Ford F150 that has the electrical 4WD shift. The problem is that this bugger doesn't work and a set of less than competent techs has worked on it before. (EG all dashboard lights blown, cables bridged to get it at least running and using some airbag wiring for an aftermarket stereo is *profanity of choice* )
Now I need some wiring schematics and if possible a troubleshooting path for that system.
The PCM does always think that the transfer case is in high, and the ABS always thinks 2WD. (even if you move the shift shaft by hand and adjust the motor to it. Shift motor works, but there is only 5V on one of the pins that go to the selector switch.....
Thanks!
