Any Dish Net/DTV installers???
Im wondering if any of you guys do Sat installs for a living? Reason being I am about to become a dealer again. Ive been out of the Sat game for about five years. Im trying to figure out what the going piece rate is for installers.
Any help would be cool
Thanks
Tom

I did not work as an installer, but did the repairs on Hughes 2 way vsat equipment. Most installers I came across complained ablout the low pay. $100.00 to about $150.00 per install. More if travel was involved. Usually anything over 35 miles, going up in increments.
The new 2 way vsat for home internet installs take about 1 to 2 hours. Most installers got in and out as fast as they could. If they got it commisined and signed off they left. Repaired a lot of bad installs.
It is light weight and small now. Easy install and pointing. Also to can have several LNB's hung on the side of the transmit RFU for differet sattilites for TV. Hope this helps.
