another week for spring to happen

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Knock , knock. Is this the breakroom? It seems different. Where is the coffee? No grub? Turns around and heads out to look for a place that has decent coffee.
Heidi, you can keep that kind of excitement you had yesterday. Glad that everything was under control so fast, or else it could have been a disaster. After that could the furnace be used, or were you out of heat?

I will be in grand rapids Michigan later today.
Sent out a PM to the janitor maximus to see if he will be able to come by.
Stanada, the buffet was/is set out by the pool tables.
Full load Sunday Buffet.
Even a bean grinder for the fancier folk.

Took a chance that this was the Breakroom thread, wal la!
hope scott answers you big guy. wish I had a drone for THAT meet up.......
Stan, no loss of heat, good thing about a gasification wood boiler is that separation of heat chamber to flue. has to go through steel tubes and another chamber before it vents to the outside. creosote is horrible with green wood/long winter.
hubby called for me to come over to ski resort to watch snowmobile hill climb/races. ended up working security for free. glad I dressed for it, high of 15 degrees. saw the races (3 at a time side by side), machines at the trailers (oh gosh those are huge but light!) and good people! did get another free meal but eating at 10pm is not for me.
one local idiot thought running his beater snowmobile up other ski trails was
his playground. racing through crowded parking areas to escape security, he went to a group to 'brag'. hubby took the machine's keys he left in it.
guy felt that since he rented a place, he could have free reign. duh?
Sherod, Cougar, ClintRR, Larry, ALLL of you guys rest well and enjoy the sunshine!!!! (or moonshine ...snicker)

Uhhh, is this the breakroom? From what to what? Or is it the LEGG room - - saw more about that than a breakroom. Oh well, whatever - - I will see what these beans and grinder are all about.
Really lousy day here - -only up to 74 degrees and that sun is so bright - - wow, sure glad there is no snow - - it would blind you. Sorry about all that stuff up north, plus the tornadoes - - that was too near my grandson.
Grinding up something to fix and out of here.

Remember my earlier post wondering what to do?? Should have kept my mouth shut. We have a stack system washer and dryer. It has lasted way longer than it should. Today, thought the dryer part was going to shred itself. Finally tore it apart and figured out what was wrong. Cost to fix? Nada...Invented a new special tool to clamp the fan back to the motor. Whew! saved by the junk in the shop! The Bride was so happy she made home made biscuits and gravy. Sorry, not much left for the breakroom.

You know the rain is hitting hard when it makes the wind howl...
Spring is trying to arrive here, having a bit of a fight in the process, but whatever, it's all good. Spent some quality time with a 58 apache the other day. It's been sitting so long, the steering linkage and kingpins are seized solid. After replacing some rotten cables, finding the spark that was hiding in the base of the distributor, and dumping some gas in the carb, it fired right up. Hits on all 6, no smoke to speak of, kept misting fuel into the carb, and it kept running. I consider that a clear win.
Carb is so varnished, you can't push fuel into it with a primer ball from a boat tank, but the fuel pump seals are good. Now the dilemma, keep the 6/4 combo, or go a more modern v8/auto combo. Not my call to make, but either way, we know it is a runner.
Time to dig into the 52 a little bit this week, if the weather cooperates. Other than that, all is normal form.
Have fun people
