Because it is getting harder and harder to find a place that doesn't have one.
I believe neighbors should be courteous to one another. I also believe neighbors should help one another when needed. I also believe people have the right to do whatever the want on their property, they OWN IT! Best thing to do is just bury the court system with law suits against HOAs for violating your rights and make your voice heard at the ballot boxes.
