New Alabama Highways Zero Tolerance Speed Camera

With the Alabama highway death toll continuing to increase, this will be the first

year that Zero Tolerance Speed Cameras will be used.


The new cameras look a bit different than normal speed surveillance cameras.


I have included a photo so that you will know what to look for as you're traveling

Around the great state of Alabama. Make sure you do not speed when approaching one.

Please take this warning seriously as these new devices offer no warnings
or second chances.

I'd like to see how the first court cases on the photo radar go. Most states hold that they violate the constitution. There is no probable cause established to activate the radar. That's why officers have to certify to operate them.

I got nailed by a speed camera in D.C. and just got the ticket and pics in the mail yesterday. I was pretty bent out about it. Now, after seeing that zero tolerance camera, I'm glad it was just a normal camera that got me.!!! lol.

Maybe it's time for the folks in Alabama to elect a new governor if they don't like the speed traps. Don't gripe kick them OUT and make them have to hustle a living like the rest of us and re-elect a working man in there.

i buy & sell scrap stuff, and few months ago, was about 75lbs of belt stuff, where they done training or something.
no brass, just buckets of the belt

i sold it all to a buddy, he thought it was cool

i basically quit speeding. i do 5 or 10 over, and thats about it.

last ticket i got was $190. calmed me down some
