TX DPS Officer have usually flashed their lights at me or have given me a warning. I have only gotten a handful of tickets in 40 years of driving. Most Officers have been very nice. Unfortunately, I have found two bad eggs that taint it for everyone. I do think the guy who pulled his weapon on me is an extreme case(apparently just not to me).......but t still gives me pause.

 

i got lucky the other day.

got pulled over for 64 in a 45 with an expired inspection sticker and no current proof of insurance

i only got a ticket for speeding, he could have pulled my plate and took my license for no proof but didnt.

i got off lucky

 

I respect what the LE officers do, its not an easy job and they are taking alot of risks and its not something that i would want to do. I could understand if i was hot rodding and blowing smoke and driving aggressively and he pulled me over, but i was driving like a pepe. It seemed like he wanted to take out some type of built up aggresion or something out on me. I have delt with some realy nice and cool LE officers with my line of work, but i agree you have your police officers and your cops
