95 Toyota Landcruiser question

Wifey's truck:
No start.....battery dead.
Tried to get a jump start......Jumper cables crossed inavertantly......
Charged battery.
Cranks but no start.
Found blown fuseable link in Positive power cable from battery.
Jumpered from Pos terminal to fuseable link....truck will start.
(Now I know I need to replace that fuseable link)

No Gauges, no charging, no security system

Is there another master fuse?

I'm not familiar with the vehicle, but I would check the fuse box and hope to find a bunch of them blown. If not, it sounds expensive. Reversed battery cables are never a good thing.

You might also check to see if any of the master relays are cooked or possibly a large size fuse which may feed secondary power to the items which are not working.

Good luck and get a good meter out!!

Yeah......$14 @ the dealer for a 7 inch long piece of wire with a ring terminal on each end, that I'd have to wait 4 days to come in ...........NOT happenin'.

NOW to finish installing/rearrainging/replumbing/rewiring the replacement air horn compressor on MY truck.

Its a landcruiser...EVERYTHING is expensive. I know. I got an 87 FJ60. Sure it may not have any electronics...but its still expensive as heck.
