$895 for a root canal... the more I think about it, them more it amazes me. How can they justify that cost? I mean, sure, when you're in pain you'll pay practically anything to make the pain go away. But there's a moral question if that's the only reason for the price. I was only in that office for 35 minutes, let alone how long I was actually in the chair. That's a little over $25 a MINUTE! Is it the liability that justifies the cost? I don't think so. If she messed up to colossal proportions and a patient died at her hands, that's still only a couple million her insurance company would have to payout. I have a general umbrella policy that covers me for 5 mil, and it doesn't come anywhere close to justifying that I charge customers $25 a minute. And when you think about it, I have WAY more liability when I weld something than any dentist could ever imagine. What if one of my welds fail on a 50 ton trailer going down the highway? It has the potential to kill multiple people and damage countless millions of dollars in property. Yet I only get a buck a minute. Something's wrong here!

-Get this, My Dr. at the clinic is on vacation and they have some temp gal filling in.
I went there today to get my BP meds and stuff renewed. It was really busy.
-Normally with a new Doctor they introduce themselves and chat for a moment but she came in after the nurse was done with my vitals and stuff
and with no intro, immediatly starts telling me that Low Testosterone is normal but it usually doesnt occur in people my age.
-Than she started asking some really personal questions including how I was uh,-responding to my girlfriend or boyfriend.
-She had the wrong chart. Im glad I wasn't getting surgery done.

hey! just found out that my homey 52 year old Seavey won!!! wow. local kid near Rochester ny is his new shadow too. noah is his name, sledding; his game. Jr Idt winner.....
I am so proud of my parka! (seavey kennel race team)
do i wish it was me? hell no. my lungs hurt thinking about just feeding them (haul case, open, set up heater, check paws, flame on, run water back and forth, straw back and forth, stir pots, cuddle wheel dogs, lead dog gets special meat and peanut butter treat, slop all dogs- then strip yer sweaty clothes off and go pee) too old.
I officially have to stay on the porch ( no longer able to run with the big dogs.)

Yeah Yeah Yeah. Smart money was on Seavey. I of course had twenty on Buser.
Seavey is actually 53 so there Sis, you don't know everything.
Actually I am impressed with you. You were rooting for one of Seavey's handlers, Noah Pereira, for the junior race and he won and now Seavey won.
Hmmm, who you got picked for this years Kentucky Derby
My parents also have excellent water. My water sucks. Spent $7000 bucks some years back for a new well and its better but it still has a bunch of iron and stuff in it.
Hey, I have my dignity to protect.

Boy this place is slow again today - - have to hit it three and four times to make it go - - - DUH. HELP.
Just a quick run by on the way out the door. Caught something late last night I thought all would enjoy - - all this barfing and cleaning up and trips to hang over the potty brought special clarity to the message:
Ok, grabbing my ph00 and gone,
Bob
Edit - -grrr - - oh well, it will still work - - click on the highlighted text on the bottom of the black screen. Funny.

Bob. That was too dang thought provoking for first thing in the morning (for me).
Watched it again a couple hours later (after coffee).
It still made me think and you know how much I hate that.

Hey, how you feeling, big guy. I just did my shoulder in about an hour ago trying to get the lug nuts loose on the fiver that an "expert" at RV repair put on in a fiasco about 5 months ago. I turned my torque wrench backwards and put it at 200 lbs and the lugs would not budge. Man it hurts. It crunched really good - - wonder if that did it. OUCH. .....

Frustrating in more ways then one Bobby. Other people working on our stuff oftens leads to more issues...200? crazy. And there's no use mentioning it anyway. Just fix it.
You may have shook it loose or ewe may have worsened it. I understand the need to do stuff. Keep busy.
I hope you get it resolved. Currently I am med free and maybe at 40-50% of where I will be.
Shaking the meds after nearly 18 months and 3 surgeries is my challenge right now..Day 3 of no meds...difficult...disgusting. I'm leaning on my Higher Power and Family as I climb up out of the fog.
The Depends needed cleaning. Saved me a pair. Allowed me to recycle x 3. High Quality Egyptian Cotton works well , folds well too.

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
layovers are where your frequent flyer card comes in handy.
Flying thru amsterdam all the time, i was in the KLM petroleum club. its kinda like a permanent lounge pass for working for an petroleum company. Even in the airports that didn't "officially" accept the card, odds were they would let me in.
Burn some miles and upgrade to business gets you in the lounges, plus a seat you can sleep in. Outside of that, 36 hours aint bad.

This trip back is the worst yet because I had to be in the Mexico City airport very early for a 5 a.m. departure. Took the last bus from home to allow me time at the airport, but once I got there discovered that the United counter was closed and did not open until 4 a.m. Grrrrrr!!! That meant that I needed to hang around the fast food area for 6 hours (the only place with seats) until I could check my bags and pick up my boarding pass. By the time I did get on the plane i had been awake for 25 hours. Not a happy camper! Never going to leave that early again unless it is from the airport where I live.
Now in the VIP lounge in San Francisco, trying to stay awake while waiting for my next flight (delayed 3.5 hours). Too tired to reply to the rest of all your posts. Hope I do not fall asleep when my flight is announced. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz That delay is not too bad because my next stop is Beijing where I have a 6 hour layover. Would rather stay longer in SF than Beijing.

One of the big reasons I agreed to come out of retirement and spend all this time in China was that as part of the deal, all my flights are either business class or first class, so get to stay in all the Star Alliance VIP lounges. Another part of the deal was that they pay for a trip home every 3 months.

I think some of these are triggered by accelerometers and save a certain amount of footage before and after, and others you hit a button to save.
Mike Rowe's web site went through a re-design. They did away with the forums. Wish they would have given some advance notice, there were a few people on there I would have liked to have gotten another way to keep in touch with them.
The Steiger got new boots yesterday and today. 8 new Michelin 18.4R42's cost 2/3 what the boss gave for the tractor. I'm going to be planting with it and not the 9250 because the 9250's tires don't sit between rows. And the tanks on it are as tall as the hood and 4 feet wider than the tractor. We are putting some old 250 gallon tanks on the Steiger so I can see something below the hood line.
I also hate barb wire. And how good I have gotten at fixing it and tearing it out.
