I've got puppies dredging up stuff I never knew I had. Some can be the creamer, some can be the sugar, rest a bold flavor enhancer.

Oh boy, another week started and I was shook - - first thing I see is I am supposed to take a flying leap. Gee, thanks a lot, BUDDY. ....................oh yeh - - the clock.............but only one hour????? That means I have to go to bed earlier, but I get to jump up earlier - - hot doggies.

I am really excited about tasting the coffee today - - shoes and puppies and who know what else in it. Wow, what a way to start the day. Oh well, take my medicine and get on with the day.

Have a good one, gang. ........................

Good morning everybody. I am with Bob, what is this nonsense about having to start the day with a flying leap? Give me a break! No leaps, or even a small hop until after I have had my first coffee, (waiting for the janitor) and even then I will sit and think about this. Mexico does not change the time until April 7.

It's till dark here, so can't tell what sort of weather we will have today, but almost every day is perfect here in Paradise, so why bother to look outside to find out? We have been having some absolutely gorgeous days here. It is quite hot in the sun, but the shade is wonderful. Even nicer relaxing in a hammock between two trees with a cool breeze. None of the white junk that so many of you are "enjoying". The daily brilliant blue skies here sure beat the grey skies and severe air pollution in China where I have spent so much time lately.

Next week I am leaving my private Paradise and going back to China for another spell. Expect to be there 3 months, then back to Paradise for a month's R & R in July, go back to China and then come home permanently about the end of November. I could stay there longer if i wanted to, but enough is enough. Looking forward to coming back to retirement again. For the trip back I am going via San Francisco, so hope I am not held up by all of this sequestration garbage that has started. For my trip in July will try to avoid going thru the US entirely. Don't have anything against you 'Merkuns, but sure hate going thru that security stuff in your airports.

Left some fresh burritos on the messy counter for when the janitor finally makes the coffee and cleans this place up. Bark didn't do anything except heat the air up..

Thanks for counting me off that leap thing
Sitting home with sick kid, sent GF and the son to a birthdayparty far far away....like 40 miles or so.
I´m afraid that stressfree week is not for me, I have next week to get 2 1/2 weeks work done, got some vacation coming up
I told the boss it didn´t matter if I got it all done, you got other folks to run my machine, boy did he look funny because last time I had one day off, they put another guy in my spot, and he got about 2 hours work done and then crashed the whole thing so bad we had to "call the man" and he was busy so he couldn´t be there untill the next day..

I didn´t mention how happy I was about their little stunt...too many times geez leave that bunch alone for a day and you´ll be sorry.

On the other hand, I´m the guy who would rather spend a little more time getting things done, than running around like another nuttcase, ( That´s the boss´ job. And he is doing fine )

Question

Good morning DTR folk.

Life is simple in Saskatchewan... no time changes to confuse the Sheeple.

I remember Mutal of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. Bark, we must've had the same channel pkg as kids. It was 2,6, and 9 here. RabbitEar on the Zenith.

I am not sure Simply-Scotty can speak on behalf of all people of Saskatchewan. After being one of the more financially challenged provinces in Canada for a long time, Sask is now on fire. I am not sure why (maybe Scott can provide some insight) but they have one of the fastest growing economies in Canada.

I like this guy. Bus driver in Russia. He doesn't brake for people that cut him off, just hits them. Turns out dash cams are prevalent there because it's so easy to buy the police or a judge.
Notice he doesn't slow down til they miss their turn?

I smell it and taste it. Then I see all the kids. The ones that were cooked beyond recognition, the ones that were just covered in black and looked like they were sleeping, the ones that I could hear screaming and I knew there was no way I was going to reach them. And on and on it goes. I came from an era where we were all told to 'walk it off', and if we couldn't, we were in the wrong line of work. I think there's a lot to be said about Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. Wish we'd had it years ago.
I'm part of the walk it off crowd as well but, I am now a firm believer in finding a group of your peers, at the minimum, and talking through these types of things. It does make a difference.

Howdy pond froth. Seems like you've been allot busier than you used to be. Glad the wife is doing well Matt.

Bob, you've got company coming, hope you're ready. These guys must have been there in the 80's when I was there. They were so big back then we would say they were so big they could stand flat foot and crap in a dump truck. http://science.nbcnews.com/_news/201...-florida?lite=

Bark, you did good, flying leap and all.

Getting packed for the next road trip. If any of you get near West Memphis, Arkansas stop by.

You absolutely do not understand how much better I feel after reading that. We may have to mimic Alaska having the mosquito as their state bird and we can use this "nipper thingy" as our state bird - - - na na na na na - - "my nipper is bigger than your nipper." What next? Oh well, get some more shotgun shells - - I'll getum. Use them for batting practise. They could be tough on smaller animals and my daughters birds. She has many thousands of dollars invested in them and they are outside. Hmmm?????

Grabbing a ph00 and gone.
