You flatlanders kill me. Just kidding, it would be nice but up here all we do is climb it seems and once you're above tree line the power loss is so bad it scares me sometimes. We go from about 5k' on the parking lot to over 10k' in a couple hours. We normally camp at around 7k'. I still haven't been able to not follow any ATV and that's with my 4 seater cage and rear seat with the five of us, the two dogs and a cooler and 14" wheels and tires. We do use 4 low and lock a lot though. It's pretty much a must up here. I would not like losing 4wd like the dude in the video.

Lol the distance is apparent. I climb, but nothing with altitude, I can imagine they lose quite abit of power up there. I like the idea of a sealed wet clutch with no need for additional ventilation, that paired with good gearing would work great for me since i spend alot of time in the water. Of course the only downfall for me would be losing the ultra low gear.

Can Am just released the Commander in 800 and 1000 cc motors with big power. My 700 Rhino makes 23 HP stock on the dyno at the wheel and with a pipe, intake, Dynatek DFS, Dynojet Power Commander and clutch mods it makes 26.
All I can say is "WOW" it was well worth the wait:

85 HP and 75 max speed.(before mods that is)

I'll bet you would gain 20HP if you were running that thing in Wyoming... you would of course want to make sure you parked it in the appropriate shop though. I happen to have one.

Just figured I would do everything I could to help you get the most out of it. What are friends for???

Yep, awesome setup. We bought a 1000 for the shop. Stripped model. Just took delivery of it as they are a little hard to come by. I haven't got it out yet for any real kind of flogging but it's coming. If we could get a little weather that's warmer than single digits during the day it would make taking it out a little easier.

Nice job.

I unloaded mine at a dock across the street from my shop at 2AM in a blizzard.. I put 4 over miles on it crossing the street

The warmest riding temps I have had is about 30 most 0 or bellow I have over 65 miles on it so far.

The machine has the HP and the Torque to go with it.. I like all of the features that the XT offers.. RzR just released their 900xp model..
